PFS CATERING INTRODUCES AUTHENTIC SINGAPORE CUISINE BY PRIMA TASTE IN SIX DIFFERENT MENUS
 
Good news for party hosts or those organising gatherings with families and friends. You can now sit back and enjoy a day of great company and a spread of delicious authentic local favourites without the hassle of cooking and cleaning! PFS Catering, the catering arm of PFS Pte Ltd, has extended their offerings to include a wide variety of ever popular local delights prepared on the spot with Prima Taste ready-to-cook pastes and premixes to make special events a gastronomic hit with guests.
 
To cater to all occasions, six Premium Menus were specially crafted to provide delicious options to meet different tastes and preferences. And for the first time, PFS Catering is also introducing its new mobile carts where a variety of Singapore food will be served up piping hot on the spot by Prima Taste’s professional chefs. Complimentary to menus priced S$35 and above, the novel Prima Taste mobile carts are set to impress guests and provide a truly memorable experience for the young and old. The mobile carts are also available for rent when you order other Premium Menus.

While many budding chefs among our customers have chosen to whip up delicious Prima Taste local dishes for gatherings with family and friends, there has also been demand for Prima Taste’s offerings to be made available for home catering. Offering a range of sumptuous best local favourites that varies between the different Prima Taste Premium Menus, consumers can indulge in their favourite by choosing from the selection that is being offered. The extensive selection includes the luscious Laksa, tangy Mee Siam, fragrant Crispy, Soya or Hainanese Chicken Rice, tender Bak Kut Teh, tasty Satay Bee Hoon, rich Mee Rebus, flavourful Prawn Mee, succulent Popiah, zesty Rojak and the delicious Bak Chor Mee, all of which would whet appetites and have your guests asking for more.
 
In addition, a new range of concoctions has been whipped up using a combination of the highly versatile Prima Taste pastes and premixes. These innovative culinary creations include the unique Sliced Fish in Ginger Brandy Sauce. To create this dish that’s packed with “oomph”, premium fish fillets are deep-fried till crispy and stir-fried in Prima Taste Hainanese Chicken Rice’s ginger and sesame soya sauce with an abundance of spring onion and chopped red chilli. Left to then sizzle and simmer in the pan in a luxurious amount of brandy to soak up the aromatic flavours, this dish is set to be lip-smacking good.
 
As for fans of seafood, they will find it hard to resist the delicious Crispy Baby Squid and Curry Prawn. Fresh baby squids of the best quality are meticulously selected and deep-fried till golden-brown while a zesty, tangy sauce is created by skilfully fusing Prima Taste’s Chilli Crab and Bak Chor Mee Soya Mix with chilli and ginger sauce, gula melaka and lime juice. The crispy, melt-in-your-mouth Asian-style calamari is dribbled with the gratifying sauce, which is bound to tantalise one’s taste buds and leave you yearning for more.
 
Oozing spicy goodness and made flavourful with a complementary blend of Prima Taste Singapore Curry paste, Laksa paste, Laksa premix and Sambal Belachan, the delicious Curry Prawn is cooked to perfection with fresh curry leaves, lemon grass, juicy tomatoes, crunchy long beans, chilli padi and succulent prawns. Stir-fried to taste in the aromatic pastes, the blend of fresh juicy ingredients are then left to simmer in the rich curry till they absorb the full piquant flavours for all to enjoy.
 
And if you are an adventurous food fan, relish the pleasures of Baked Curry Chicken in Basil Oil. Chunks of juicy chicken are marinated in Prima Taste’s Curry paste, and oven-baked till tender. Its aromatic juices are then stir-fried with a generous handful of fresh basil leaves, Prima Taste’s Sambal paste and potato starch to create appetising gravy for the prime poultry.
 
For those who enjoy a kick out of indulging in rich cuisine, the new Otak You Tiao with Rojak Sauce is a must-try. In this innovative concoction, fresh juicy prawns are blended with Prima Taste’s Otak paste, Cuttlefish paste, lemon grass and ginger flower buds to create a special delectable filling. The paste-like filling is then generously stuffed into pieces of You Tiao and deep-fried till perfection. A rich, delicious dip sauce is then created with Prima Taste’s Rojak Peanut sauce and Rojak premix to accompany the hot, crispy You Tiao, adding a real gastronomic twist to this already very popular dish among the locals.
 
To bring a sweet end to the hearty meal, charm your party guests with a range of delightful desserts, such as the special ‘Red Beans’ Roti Prata with Cinnamon Icing. Made with Prima Taste’s Red Bean paste, this creative concoction sees the union of roti prata dough stuffed with dollops of tasty red bean paste. The light dough, which is pan-fried till crispy, is then sprinkled with mouth-watering cinnamon powder and sugar icing to make the culinary experience truly satisfying. Those who prefer more traditional desserts can also look forward to savouring local favourites such as Red Bean with Lotus Seed, Tau Suan and Cheng Tng, all made using Prima Taste ready-to-cook pastes and premixes.
 
The specially created Prima Taste Premium Menus are priced attractively from S$15 per person for a minimum of 30 persons to S$45 per person for a minimum of 80 persons.
